i've learn about more than one chief in this chapter. so i guess , it is important for me to be able to differentiate the responsibilities of each of the chief. there are chief information officer (CIO), chief technology officer (CTO), chief privacy officer (CPO), chief security officer (CSO), and chief knowledge officer (CKO). Down here , i list you the definitions of all chief that i just stated before.

Chief Information Officer (CIO) – oversees all uses of IT and ensures the strategic alignment of IT with business goals and objectives

Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – responsible for ensuring the throughput, speed, accuracy,
availability, and reliability of IT

Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) – responsible for ensuring the ethical and legal use of information

Chief Security Officer (CSO) – responsible for ensuring the security of IT systems

Chief Knowledge Office (CKO) - responsible for collecting, maintaining, and distributing the
organization’s knowledge

i can also explain about the gap between IT people and business people. business people posses expertise
in functional areas such as marketing, accounting, and sales. whereas the IT people have the technological
expertise. this gap typically causes a communication gap between IT people and business people.
